Eiffel Tower
Eiffel Tower is an iron lookout tower built in 1889 and with its 300
meters (324 meters with antenna) it is the tallest building in Paris. During a
century of its existence it became an icon of France and one of the best known
structures in the world.
To get to the second floor of the tower (in 115 meters) visitors can use
stairs or can take the elevators. From there the only way to reach the very top
of Eiffel Tower visitors have to use elevator, that climbs to 276 meters.
There are two restaurants in Eiffel Tower. On the first floor of the
tower there is restaurant called Altitude 95 (it is 95 meters above sea level).
Second restaurant Jules Verne is on the second floor and with one Michelin star
it is rather expensive.
Every year more then 6 million people visits Eiffel Tower and in its
history the tower welcomed over 200 million visitors.
